Objective: Clear, confident communication

This workshop maybe taught in four or eight hours

Have you ever left a meeting and then realized what you “should” have said? Have you ever been so nervous before a presentation that you were unable to express yourself effectively? This class is designed for anyone who would like to improve their presentation skills – from facilitation of team meetings to high level corporate presentations. In Ed O. Bridgman’s Presentation Skills workshop you will expand your comfort zone, break down barriers, and become more confident while presenting. You will learn to project yourself and your ideas with enthusiasm and confidence. The format is highly interactive allowing each participant opportunity to practice new techniques. Individual consulting and feedback is given during and after each session.

Participants are provided a workbook.

Topics include:

• The advantages of effective communication in the workplace

• It’s not what you say, but how you say it

• Identify the critical elements of a presentation and use them to keep the audience interested – regardless of the topic

• Using nervousness to your advantage

• Become more comfortable speaking in front of groups

• How to handle “oops”

• How to handle questions and even those people that seem to want to trip you on purpose

• Motivate and transform employees by encouraging risk, responsibility, and accountability

Seminar consists of:
